How can you make healthy choices with I.L. Creations? Plan ahead! Review the nutrition information for any of our specialty stations below before you head down to our cafe.

Tips to make your meals even more nutritious:
  • Hold the mayonnaise on your deli or grill sandwich. This saves you 100 calories and 11 grams of fat.
  • Pile vegetables on your sandwiches. In addition to lettuce and tomato, head over to the build your own salad bar for cucumbers, spinach, red onions, and banana peppers for added crunch, flavor and nutrients. 
  • Make sure to ask for whole wheat bread to bump up your servings of fiber and other important nutrients.
  • Opt for fresh fruit, yogurt, or a small salad as a side to your station item rather than choosing chips or fries.
  • In the mood for pizza? Choose 1 slice rather than 2 slices of pizza and pair it with mixed fruit or a side salad. If you select a personal size pizza, cut it in half and take the rest home for dinner. 
  • Make smart beverages choices: water is always the best choice.  If you're looking for a little more flavor, try a decaffeinated herbal tea.  If you reach for juice, make sure the label says "100% Juice" and stick to a small portion.  Try diluting it with soda water for a fizzy, naturally flavorful beverage.
