Wake Up to a Balanced Breakfast in Your ILC Cafe!

No plan for breakfast?  No problem!  Your ILC Cafe has numerous options for a balanced, nourishing breakfast.  Try a few of these simple combinations for a wholesome, convenient breakfast. 
  • At the grill:
    • Egg sandwich on English muffin or multi-grain toast with Swiss cheese (lowest in sodium).  Ask for sauteed veggies (participating locations may vary). 
    • Egg or egg-white omelet with sauteed veggies.  Skip the cheese to save on calories, sodium and saturated fat. Balance the protein with fresh fruit & a slice of toast. 
  • On the cold bar:
    • Plain yogurt or cottage cheese + fruit + granola or English muffin/toast 
  • On the hot bar:
    • Scrambled or hard boiled eggs + fruit & toast. 
    • Hot cereal w/nuts, dried fruit and cinnamon  
  • Pre-packaged:
    • Kind® Fruit & Nut Bar w/hard boiled egg, cottage cheese or plain yogurt 
    • Naked ® Juice w/hard boiled egg, cottage cheese, or plain yogurt 
    • Kashi® cereal or Cheerios® w/milk or milk alternative and fruit 
    • 1/2 bagel w/peanut butter
Enjoy black coffee or any of our hot teas for a naturally sugar free, calorie free beverage.  Add a splash of milk or cream and a dash of cinnamon (found near the hot cereal) for a richer flavor. 

Does your cafe include a Dunkin Donuts or a Subway?  
  • Check out their more nutritious options as well such a egg white sandwiches with extra veggies.
  • Love a flavored latte but trying to cut back on sugar?  At Dunkin Donuts, ask for a latte made with almond milk.  It has a hint of sweetness and vanilla flavor that makes for a delicious, not-too-sweet coffee beverage.
